My philosophy of care is rooted in building relationships with my clients and understanding the performance goals that they have for themselves and their equine partners. I value providing the best diagnostic equipment available, and believe that diagnostics should augment, not replace, a comprehensive physical examination. I want my clients to be equipped with the knowledge that they need to care for their horse, which is why I value communication during appointments and also encourage communication by phone and/or email if questions arise post-appointment.
Each horse and owner team are unique and I take great pride in customizing services and treatment plans that best fit not only different performance goals, but also the unique conditions and challenges that each team will encounter. My success as your veterinarian is dependent upon a functional care team that consists of the veterinarian, the farrier, the owner, and the trainer.
